History / Summary
Service medal issued to Hilton Daniel McCurdy, a resident of Tamworth who enlisted in the AIF on 12 November 1942 at Liverpool. Assigned service number NX144223, McCurdy reached the rank of corporal and served in the New Guinea campaign, possibly at Aitape. He was discharged on 15 March 1946.
