Outdoor portrait of NX8390 Private (Pte) Robert Mulholland Bevan, 2/17 Battalion, of Sydney, NSW. He enlisted from Paddington, NSW, on 2 June 1941. Pte Bevan was killed in New Guinea on 3 November 1943, aged 21 years. He is buried at the Lae War Cemetery, Papua New Guinea.
