A BL 6 inch wire Mark XI naval gun being removed from the Australian War Memorial outdoor collections area at the Exhibition Buildings in Carlton Gardens. The destination, and current location of this item is unknown. This is one of a series of photographs taken by Roy Weston of the continuing work to package and prepare the collections for transfer to Canberra. Roy Weston was an AWM employee who joined as a junior clerk, aged 15, in 1923.
