Studio portrait of 87 Comany Quartermaster Sergeant Jenkyn James Llewelyn, 45th Battalion, of Kogorah, NSW. An accountant prior to enlistment, he embarked with the 9th Reinforcements aboard HMAT Anchises(68) on 24 January 1917. Llewelyn served on the Western Front and was killed in action on 12 October 1917. He was 22 years of age.
