Temporary memorial board at the Lae Cemetery. The introduction reads 'Temporary memorial to those who lost their lives in action and whose remains were not found or were not identified and to the missing.' On the lower part of the board is a list of the names of such men (soldiers and airmen) who died in 1942 and 1943 in the Lae Ramu Valley and Wau areas.
