Studio portrait of 6146 Private (Pte) Frank Tatti, 8th Battalion, of Daylesford, Vic. A miner prior to enlisting on 12 April 1916, he embarked at Melbourne with the 19th Reinforcements on 28 July 1916 aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32). Pte Tatti joined his battalion in France on 29 December 1916, and was killed in action in Belgium on 20 September 1917; he has no known grave. His name is recorded on the Menin Gate Memorial at Ypres.
