Informal group portrait of unidentified prisoners of war (POWs) at Stalag 383, a special non-work camp for non-commissioned officers (NCOs). Believed to be in the image is VX3823 Sergeant Hilary James Laird Heaver, 2/6 Battalion, of Toorak, Victoria, a POW in the camp from 1942 to 1945, who sent the photograph to his mother in Adelaide.
