Description
Studio portrait of 2842 Private (Pte) Keith Doctor Hean, 26th Battalion, of Sorell, Tasmania. A farm hand prior to enlistment, Pte Hean embarked with the 6th reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Ulysses on 27 October 1915. Whilst serving with the 12th Battalion he was killed in action in France on 19 June 1916, aged 25.
