Studio portrait of 1380 Trooper (Tpr) Harold Stanley Freeman, 9th Australian Light Horse Regiment. A draper of Unley, SA, he embarked on HMAT Benalla on 27 October 1915. Tpr Freeman died of meningitis and a fractured skull on 30 January 1916; he was aged 26 years.
