Grave with original marker of 7205 Private (Pte) David Andrew Allison, 11th Battalion, of Murphys Creek, Qld. A teamster prior to enlistment, he embarked from Fremantle, WA with the 24th Reinforcements on board HMAT Miltiades on 29 January 1917. Pte Allison died of sickness at the Royal Hospital Weymouth, England on 16 December 1917, ages 45. He is buried at the Melcombe Regis Cemetery, United Kingdom.
