Studio portrait of NX173854 Private (Pte) Reginald Charles Brotherton, 2/5 Battalion. Twenty year old Pte Brotherton was killed in action at Aitape, New Guinea, on 13 July 1945. He was a cannery worker originally from Ardlethan NSW, and enlisted at Bathurst on 10 August 1943.
