Studio portrait of members of the 33rd Battalion. Front row, far left, is 2623 Private (Pte) Daniel George Orman, of Narrabri, NSW. Pte Orman embarked from Sydney with the 5th Reinforcements on board SS Port Napier on 17 November 1916. He was killed in action at Zonnebeke, Belgium, on 2 October 1917, aged 27. The other soldiers are unidentified.
