Studio portrait of QX13768 Sergeant (Sgt) Ronald James O'Donnell, 2/10 Field Regiment, of Manly, Qld. O'Donnell enlisted in the AIF in July 1940. Following the fall of Singapore to the Japanese on 15 February 1942, Sgt O'Donnell, along with his unit, was taken prisoner of war. On 26 December 1942, Sgt O'Donnell was murdered while imprisoned in Burma (Myanmar). He was 24 years of age.
