Studio portrait of NX36597 Sergeant (Sgt) Amos Anthony Doolan, 2/30 Battalion, of Griffith, NSW. Sgt Doolan became a prisoner of war following the fall of Singapore in February 1942. He died of illness in Thailand on 9 November 1943. He was 36 years of age.
