Studio portrait of NX36452 Private (Pte) Keith Robert Muirhead, 2/13 Battalion, of Hillston, NSW. Pte Muirhead was a farmer prior to enlisting in July 1940. He was killed in action at Tobruk, Libya, on 14 June 1941. Pte Muirhead was 23 years of age. A metal plaque attached to the portrait frame reads: "Presented to Mr & Mrs Muirhead by friends who knew Keith best."
