Studio portrait of 2430 Private (Pte) Leslie Moxey, 35th Battalion, of Williamtown, NSW. A farmer prior to enlisting in July 1916, Pte Moxey embarked from Sydney with the 4th Reinforcements on board HMAT Borda (A30) on 17 October 1916. He was killed in action at Messines, Belgium, on 7 June 1917. Pte Moxey was 30 years of age.
