Studio portrait of 401137 Sergeant (Sgt) Maurice McGuire, No. 13 Squadron, RAAF, and his mother Mrs Ellen McGuire at her home at 366 Orrong Road, North Caulfield, Vic. Sgt McGuire was one of five crew members on board Hudson aircraft A16-132 which was lost at sea while on operations off the coast of Darwin on 17 June 1942. Sgt McGuire was 22 years of age.
