Studio portrait of S5223 Ordinary Seaman (OD) George Albert Graham, HMAS Sydney, of Belmore, NSW. He was a pastry cook prior to enlisting in March 1941 and became a crew member of HMAS Sydney on 12 September 1941. OD Graham was one of 645 men who lost their lives following the engagement between HMAS Sydney and the German cruiser Kormoran off the coast of Western Australia on 20 November 1941. He was 20 years of age.
