Description
A4-140 Caribou, RAAF Transport Flight Vietnam (RTFV), just prior to departure from Malton Airport in Toronto bound for Gander airport, Newfoundland. Crew for the flight were Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) John Bevan; O315267 Flying Officer (FO) John Lindner ; O17728 FO Robert Murray Bertram, Navigator; A217629 Leading Aircraftman (LAC) Kenneth Arthur "Aussie" Pratt and A53406 Corporal (Cpl) Jim Ryle, who was responsible for radio maintenance for the three caribous that were on a ferry flight that day. This aircraft is now held at the Australian War Memorial.
