A resident of Melbourne, Vic, prior to enlistment, Pte Griffiths commenced service in Korea on 1 April 1952. Pte Griffiths was assumed missing, presumed killed in action on or after 11 December 1952, aged 24. He is commemorated on Wall 1 in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, Korea.
