Paybook photograph of 3400143 Corporal (Cpl) William Kevin Murphy, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). A resident of Melbourne, Vic, prior to enlistment, Cpl Murphy commenced service in Korea on 17 January 1951. Cpl Murphy was reported assumed missing, presumed killed in action on or after 24 April 1951, aged 30. He is commemorated on Wall 2 in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, Korea.
