Studio portrait of V26556 Trooper Clarence Henry Albrecht, No. 12 Troop, C Squadron, 19th Machine Gun Regiment, Darwin Military P.O. He was a farmer of Dimboola, Vic, prior to his enlistment on 20 August 1940. He later transferred to 47 Battalion with the new service number VX88955. Sergeant Albrecht was killed in Bougainville on 24 July 1945; he was 25 years of age.
