Studio portrait of 3941 Private (Pte) Hedley Trevilyan, 10th Battalion, of Burra, SA. A labourer prior to enlistment, he embarked from Adelaide, SA with the 12th Reinforcements aboard HMAT Malwa on 2 December 1915. Pte Trevilyan was killed in action in France on 10 June 1916; he was 21 years of age.
