Under UNIIMOG supervision, the remains of soldiers from the Iran-Iraq War are exchanged at Khorramshahr, Iran. The United Nations Iran-Iraq Military Observer Group (UNIIMOG) was established to verify, confirm and supervise the cease-fire between Iran and Iraq, and the withdrawal of all forces to internationally recognized boundaries.
