Description

William Smith arrived on Gallipoli as a reinforcement in mid October, after the evacuation in December he was transported via Lemnos, Egypt and Alexandria to the north of France. He was involved in the action at Sausage Valley on the Western Front. Some comments are also made by Grace Millar, William's sister and the mother of Helen.
