Description
An informal portrait of 4410203 Sergeant (Sgt) Michael (Mike) Coleridge, an Army Public Relations photographer who served in Vietnam from 19 November 1966 to 21 November 1967, in a Vietnamese village looking at a magpie perched on his right arm. Sgt Coleridge has slung around his neck a classic Rolleiflex twin lens reflex (TLR) camera and a 35mm Nikon F series camera. Mike Coleridge is the photographer responsible for taking the photograph etched on the Vietnam Memorial on Anzac Parade, Canberra. This photograph was taken on 120 colour negative film with his Rolleiflex camera.
