Studio portrait of VX23330 Gunner (Gnr) Thomas Ray Fitzpatrick, 4 Anti Tank Regiment. A labourer from Clifton Hill, Vic, in civilian life, Gnr Fitzpatrick enlisted on 10 June 1940. He was made a prisoner of war (POW) of the Japanese and died of illness in Thailand on 25 December 1943, aged 43.
