Members of the RAAF burial party proceed to graves at Bomana War Cemetery, Papua New Guinea. The casket is that of 400871 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Austin James Collins, air gunner. Flt Sgt Collins served in Malaya with the RAF and returned to Australia after the fall of Singapore. He was then posted to 22 Squadron RAAF, in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. He was lost on operations in New Guinea on 1 June 1943.
