Description
An M60 machine gun mounted on the side of an No. 9 Squadron RAAF Iroquois helicopter on the deck of USS Brinkley Bass (DD-887). The helicopter landed on the US Navy destroyer during a firing mission coordination meeting. The USS Brinkley Bass provided Naval gunfire support for the 1st Australian Task Force in Phuc Tuy Province.
