From left to right: 411503 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Kenneth Tudor Rodwell Lucas; 411133 Flying Officer (FO) Edward Wormley Evans; 27913 Sergeant (Sgt) Peter Duncan; 411184 Sgt (later FO) Eric Beattie Purcell; 401378 Wing Commander (Wing Cdr) Brian John Francis Hayes and 405290 Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) Bernard William Battis. Flt Sgt Lucas, a dairy worker from Nyngan, NSW, was killed on operations over the Mediterranean on 10 July 1943.
