Collection relating to VX57167 Gunner Keith Johnson Dickinson who was a prisoner of war of the Japanese in Burma during the Second World War. It comprises 1 original typed 2 page letter dated 12 September 1946, written to Gnr Dickinson's wife by an Australian Army Chaplain, NX70685 Captain Frederick Hugh Bashford. The letter describes the events leading up to, and the execution by the Japanese, of Gnr Dickinson on 2 March 1943.
