Description
A convoy returning from a "Log Run" (logistics run) from Patrol Base (PB) Wali to Kamp Holland through the Dasht (desert plain). This photograph was taken by Nick Fletcher, Australian War Memorial Senior Curator of Military Heraldry and Technology, as part of the Memorial's Curators in the Field programme. Nick travelled to Afghanistan with the Australian Defence Force in October 2009, together with official war artist Shaun Gladwell.
