A group of unidentified prisoners of war (POW) outside a building at Güstrow POW camp, Germany. The handwritten note on the reverse of the image reads: "A good view of the uninviting appearance of Güstrow prison camp - with its encircling "wald" (forest) and moorland." One of a series of 157 images from the collection of 4199 Sergeant William Charles Groves, 14th Battalion, an Australian prisoner of war held at Güstrow POW camp in Germany.
