For our health's sake we must...KILL FLIES!
Description
The first in a series of Australian Second World War medical safety posters issued by the Deputy Director Medical Services NSW L of C Area , advising of the importance of eradicating flies. The main slogan in the centre of the poster is surrounded by caricatures of soldiers killing flies by various means. While the poster employs humour to deliver its message, its intent was very serious. Flies were one of the main sources of diseases such as malaria.
