Informal portrait of 402252 Sergeant (Sgt) Frank Richardson RAAF, 104 Squadron RAF (third from left) and unidentified crew members. Sgt Richardson was the pilot of a Wellington aircraft that was declared missing in bombing operations over Berlin on 8 September 1941. Subsequent investigations determined that the entire crew had been killed on operations. Sgt Richardson's name is recorded on the Runnymede Memorial at Surrey, England.
