Studio portrait of 1149 Private (Pte) Clarence Vincent Jaehne, 10th Battalion. A grocer from Rainbow, Vic, Pte Jaehne embarked with the 10th Battalion, 1st Reinforcements, on 7 December 1914 aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32). Whilst on board Pte Jaehne contracted pneumonia and later died at sea on 14 January 1915.
