Portrait of Francis James Michael Bramwell and Nellie at a ball. Later VX120833 Private (Pte) Francis James Michael Bramwell, 57/60th Battalion, of East Preston, Vic. A bootmaker in civilian life, Pte Bramwell enlisted on 22 December 1942. He was killed in action in New Guinea on 1 February 1944, aged 27.
