Studio portrait of NX15164 Private (Pte) Victor Platt, 2/3 Infantry Battalion. Pte Platt enlisted at Paddington, NSW, on 16 May 1940. He died of wounds on 25 October 1942, which he sustained during the 2/3 Battalions's first campaign against the Japanese along the Kokoda Trail.
