Fund raising paper poppy signed by G. Howell VC and given to Margaret Markham, Lady Mayoress of Penrith and found in her autograph book. Item PUB01713, handwritten note by unknown author to the Lady Mayoress with a message offering the poppy in appreciation of assistance during a Poppy Day Appeal.
