158 page manuscript examining the history of 150 Squadron RAF during the Second World War. The first chapter details the nature of the squadron's service in North Africa and Italy including the role the squadron was to play at a strategic level. Chapter two provides information on the Wellington bomber as used by the Squadron and contains extracts from diaries and letters details the men's thoughts on the aircraft. Chapter three looks at the squadron itself looking at the commanders, the roles of the crewmen, and those of the support staff. Chapters four through seven examine components of the squadron in detail, the structure of orders issued, the kinds of missions undertaken, hazards faced by the aircrew, and the nature of day-to-day life for members of the squadron. Chapter eight contains a series of anecdotes taken from members of the squadron relating to the service of the squadron and some of the units personalities.
