Studio portrait of VX27127 Private (Pte) Edward (Eddie) William Docking of Alexandra, Vic. Pte Docking enlisted on 14 June 1940 at Caulfield, Vic, and served with the 2/21 Battalion as part of Gull Force. He was captured on the island of Ambon and was killed by Japanese troops on 20 February 1942. Pte Docking has no known grave, his name is recorded on the Ambon Memorial.
