Description
A naked Australian soldier leaving the shower area of a fire support base (FSB). Manned by US Army mobile artillery, the Australian 4th Field Regiment and support staff, the FSB provided artillery assistance to 2 Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (2RAR/NZ). The Battalion was known as the ANZAC Battalion because it incorporated a component from the 1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment. Two large, black rubberized water filled bladders are on a raised earth platform behind the unidentified soldier.
