Battlefield grave of QX8041 Corporal (Cpl) Edward David Donovan, 2/15th Battalion, who was killed in action in Libya on 1 September 1942 during Operation Bulimba. His steel helmet has been left on the grave in common with other burials in the area. (see P10220.001 and P10220.002). Originally from Rockhampton, QLD, Cpl Donovan was aged 30 when he died.
