History / Summary
Daniel Kearney served as a Fireman with the Mercantile Fleet Auxilliary (MFA) during the First World War. The MFA was made up of merchant vessels chartered for service in support of the Royal Navy during the war. Kearney migrated to Australia after the war and is believed to have settled in the Orange, NSW area; possibly around Molong or Carcoar.
