[Autographed Postcard of P&O Steamer]
Description
Autographed postcard sent from 3454 Private Fred Agland to his family while at sea. Fred had written a message on the reverse of the card to his family detailing his voyage on the troopship HMAT A35 Berrima in January 1916. The card has been signed by other members of the 19th Battalion. Fred Agland died in France only several months later in November 1916.
