Coloured memorial card with image of 2770 Private (Pte) William Clifford Gale. A carpenter from Crystal Brook, SA, Pte Gale embarked with 50th Battalion from Adelaide aboard HMAT Port Melbourne on 23 October 1916. Pte Gale was killed in action in France on 25 April 1918, aged 20 years.
