Studio portrait of 628 Allan Goss
Description
Studio portrait of 628 Private (Pte) Allan Goss, 40th Infantry Battalion. A labourer from Cressy, Tasmania, prior to enlisting, Pte Goss embarked from Hobart on 1 July 1916 aboard HMAT Berrima A35. He was wounded in action in Belgium on 6 October 1917 and died of his wounds two days later.
