Portrait of Sergeant Major Thomas Murphy on zinc plate. Part of an assemblage that includes a 17 zinc-plate artist's book.
The treatment of the portrait by the artist gives it the appearance of a battlefield relic, full of 'bullet holes', scratched and rusted.
