Studio portrait of 7478 Private (Pte) Lancelot Eldin De Mole, 10th Battalion. A draughtsman from North Adelaide, SA prior to enlistment, Pte De Mole embarked with the 25th Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Aeneas on 30 October 1917. Whilst serving in France he was promoted to Acting Corporal and returned to Australia on 9 January 1920.
