Description
Studio portrait of 4264 Private (Pte) Albert John Llewellyn Bowers, 11th Reinforcements, 31st Infantry Battalion. A bootmaker from Charters Towers, Queensland, Pte Albert Bowers enlisted on 13 July 1916 serving in the same battalion as his brothers, 4158 Pte Charles Victor Bowers and 4265 Pte Robert Bowers. Pte Albert Bowers died of influenza in France on 18 February 1919 aged 22 years. (See also P10439.002 and P10439.003)
